Playa de San Juan, also often referred as simply San Juan, is a village on the south coast of Tenerife. It is about a half hour drive from Playa de las Americas and Costa Adeje.

 

The route towards is already a party. The TF-47 takes you past many hectares of banana plantations. Here they grow enough bananas to supply half of Europe of bananas.

 

If you enter Playa de San Juan, you will probably end up at the road that runs along the coast. Here there is relatively little to see except the sea that makes the waves crash agains the rocks. If you drive a little further south, than you will be at the entrance of the harbor. You cannot enter by car, but around the harbor there’s a parking lot.
